Volunteers are an important part of the community of support surrounding students across Greater Central Texas. Whether you want to work directly with students, assist with a special event, support a campus, or lend your skills behind the scenes, there are meaningful ways to get involved.
Volunteers strengthen the relationships, resources, opportunities, and support systems students need to thrive in school and in life.
Volunteers should be comfortable working with youth from diverse backgrounds and able to commit to the expectations of their selected volunteer opportunity.

Not everyone can make a weekly commitment. CIS also offers opportunities to volunteer through special events and seasonal community efforts.
